Dr. Pamela J. Smith-Downing is a native of New Haven, CT. She is an international speaker, consultant, author, business owner, song producer, songwriter, international missionary, veteran, ordained minister, and crisis and transformational coach for people worldwide. She is also a former Department of Defense civil servant with over thirty-six years of service. She motivates her listeners to reach beyond their circumstances for a more rewarding life. She conducts transformational seminars, financial seminars, mentoring and coaching sessions, workshops, and conferences. She carries out her mission to help everyone live victorious lives despite disappointments and pain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pamela was recognized by several political dignitaries for her leadership and service in her community and abroad. She is a graduate of the USDA Executive Leadership Program. She holds an earned Doctorate in Theology from Life Christian University (Summa Cum Laude) and a bachelor\u2019s degree in Occupational Technical Studies from Old Dominion University. Pursuing a 2<\/span>ND<\/span> doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology.\u00a0 Dr. Pamela is also a graduate of Dave Ramsey\u2019s Financial Master Coach Training Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

An entrepreneur with a business mind and an eye for style and excellence, Dr. Pamela is the founder and CEO of PJD Enterprises L.L.C. PJD Enterprises is designed to assist customers in pursuing their dreams and goals without excuses and to lead with passion. She is also the founder and CEO of The Jelani and Jade Parent Foundation, AKA \u201cNo Child Left Alone.\u201d This foundation\u2019s mission is to provide superior service and support to children and parents, alleviating the ongoing tragedies of children being left alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pamela also conducts the Ministry of Excellence conferences designed to train business owners, church leaders, and individuals seeking to elevate every area of their lives. She is the founder of the Victorious Over-comers in the Word (VOW) Women\u2019s conference, which aims to help women stop breaking vows and embrace being a VOW. Additionally, she has founded the No More Excuses Summits, fostering an atmosphere for individuals to set goals and dreams that ultimately lead to manifestation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pamela has co-authored two academic books and written seven, including her signature book, \u201cThrow Away the Excuses and Succeed; Ignite Your Dreams and Goals.\u201d She has also authored books on leadership, transformation, finance, and church protocol. Additionally, she has created a vast library of materials aimed at helping men and women live victorious lives in leadership, finance, and excellence. Her training materials are widely used in corporate settings and churches.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pamela shares her life and love with her husband, Steven, and their two daughters, Brittney and Joi.\u00a0She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling around the world, reading, and planning events.
